We visited the South Carolina Aquarium, checking out all the amazing marine life. The hotel was super convenient to get to the aquarium, and we also enjoyed the beaches nearby. The rooms were clean and comfy, making it a great spot to unwind after our adventures!
The dining area could use more variety. They had a decent breakfast but no fresh fruit, which was a letdown for those who prefer healthier options.

Visiting the South Carolina Aquarium was a hit with my teenagers, showcasing amazing sea life and interactive exhibits. The hotel room was clean, which made our family stay more comfortable. We also liked the accessible laundry room for our needs.
My kids wished for a proper breakfast instead of just muffins. It would be great if they added more family-friendly dining options.

Family with kids enjoy the space and convenience
This place was like my own little studio. I spent time in the kitchenette cooking meals, made my family happy. Matthew, the manager, was real helpful during our stay.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but we felt it was acceptable for what we got.

missingWrote a review on Jun 21comfortable amenitiesgood locationdecent room layoutunpleasant odorrude staffpoor cleanliness
The location was really convenient, just a short drive to downtown Charleston and local attractions. The amenities were adequate. I liked having the option to cook in the room and do laundry. The room itself had a decent layout, and the flat-screen TV was a nice touch. However, there were some major issues that stood out. Upon check-in, my room had a strong, unpleasant odor that made it hard to relax. The bathroom and kitchen areas weren't as clean as I expected, with visible grime in the corners. I had some trouble with the staff. one front desk attendant was particularly rude when I asked for help. I understand everyone has bad days, but a little courtesy goes a long way. I also found the "free breakfast" to be quite lacking—just coffee and granola bars? Not what I expected. Overall, I think this hotel needs to tighten up on cleanliness and improve customer service to match the nice location and amenities.

However, the plumbing left much to be desired.
